Almare Residences

Cancún, Q.ROO, MEX

2025

The landscape concept for Al Mare Residences aimed not only to enhance the common areas of this multifamily development, but also to create a sheltered garden experience.

The design was guided by three symbolic concepts: the moon, the goddess Ixchel, and reflection. These inspired both the spatial arrangement and plant selection, which included white-flowering species such as Plumeria alba (Flor de Mayo), Bougainvillea glabra ‘White’ (White Bougainvillea), and Hymenocallis littoralis (Beach Spider Lily), evoking purity and lunar qualities.

The main entrance fountain was designed to represent the phases of the moon, with aquatic plants like Nymphaea spp. (Water Lilies) reinforcing the theme of reflection and serenity.
